if this is the argument then his case is weak because its in UMG's best interest to promote music that has legs
if drake didnt drop the snoozefest that was Family Matters and actually dropped a real banger that competed with NLU and THEN they didn't promote it? then he would have something
Factual but they ain't trying to hear this though.
Bout to feast on some mean ass roti while yall cry in another thread
Yeah it’s best you just stay away from anymore Drake news. It’s sad at how he’s going out
I swear the Kendrick Stan’s just come in every drake thread and just start blabbering random irrelevant s***
Kendrick Stans ain’t wasting their time in these threads. I promise you. It’s just Drake haters bruh.
I used to say he technically was only calling Baka a pedo on the song but he does go “say Drake i hear you like em young” idk where it goes from here lol
i said this too, like he didnt explicitly call Drake one but he does say that he likes them young so the insinuation is there
Anyone have enough knowledge to explain the difference in him filing a federal suit?
Gunna wait on the YouTube lawyers. But US Federal law is different than state law. Might think he has a stronger case, or might think the severity of Federal is strong enough to block the song from being performed at the Super Bowl
Not a legal expert though and doubt anybody here is

Either that or they share a game room

I do not care brother
We going Federal, baby 😎
This is in the KTT hall of fame. This might be your Magnum Opus not gonna front
This what Mike shoulda done lol
if eminem was signed to sony like him he definitely could’ve sued them for just lose it
Honestly need him to win. If he can set the precedent that “boosting” another person calling somebody a pedophile is punishable offense we can easily take down Elon Musk 😂
But you agree his position does not make sense considering UMG was perfectly fine with Drake releasing a song defaming what I would imagine is a very profitable artist for them ? (Kendrick)
Drake is arguing that they did a lot more than just release NLU. They went out of their way to massively promote the song at his detriment partly because he feels they wanted to drive down his value and worth for when his deal would be up and he'd come back to the table for renegotiations.
This is really about him feeling like UMG pushed the button on his image being ruined through the message of that song and ultimately harming his ability to make as much money as possible.
Either that or they share a game room

@FREE Nozuka thought he was slick
Literally the softest s*** ever in the history of rap
Bro deserves to lose all respect as a rapper. Put him in conversations with Post Malone now.
