It's important to remember that he never wanted to sue. UMG forced his hand by basically telling him to f*** off when he told them behind the scenes that the material they were promoting was f***ing with his real life because it was being pushed so hard that people were taking it as fact. That's what prompted this entire lawsuit.

I don't think he made a mistake. I think he did what he felt he needed to do and whenever you choose to do that, you've gotta live with the consequences, whatever they might be. I said it earlier in this thread that even if the case went to trial, it would still be a whole other battle for him to win. There was always a chance he was gonna lose at trial or that the case wouldn't even go to trial to begin with.

I'm glad the judge finally made a decision. Hopefully, he moves on and doesn't appeal. He tried going at UMG via the legal system and it didn't work. It is what it is.
