It’s a 4 bar hook, if you include the other three lines it doesn’t change the context of him calling himself a pop star whatsoever

Okay I’m with you. Now how does that change what I said about Drake being labeled a pop star as a negative? Tell me when you or anybody else has called him a pop star as something positive?

  • Aug 24, 2025

“Bitches calling my phone like I’m locked up nonstop
From the plane to the f***ing helicopter yuh
Cops pulling up like I’m giving d**** out, nah nah
    I’m a popstar, not a doctor”

How does this change the context at all?

Because it’s neither negative nor positive. Drake IS a popstar. You’re just choosing to take it in a negative light because for some reason you think it’s offensive

As long as Kendrick doesn't let the events surrounding the beef go, you don't get to ask Drake to let it go as well.

What kind of stupid "rule" states that once you lose a rap battle you should never refer to the beef or who you had the beef with ever again, especially when the person you beefed with is still literally mentioning your name every time he performs?

Your issue is him not being complimented enough is the most d***sucking angle I’ve ever seen

People have talked about Drake being a successful pop star for 10 years what even is this complaint

That’s what you’re trying to do when you call Drake a pop star. Nobody calls him that unless they are trying to downplay his rap catalog. That’s like me calling Meek a pill head in 2015 when he lost to Drake.

He’s a pop star whether you feel some type of way about people calling him that or not lol Whatever I wanna call that nigga doesn’t change the significance of the battle. No one forced him to make Target music.

The winner is allowed to go on a victory lap. Sassy posting on IG while you’re suing over the beef just makes you look like a b****.

    It’s not a rap rule

In competition period the loser is always looked at as weird for continuing to drag it post loss

    Yall are so disconnected

Never said Kendrick couldn't go on his victory lap, so I don't get why y'all keep bringing it up. I said that as long as Kendrick wants to keep mentioning Drake's name every night on tour and preforming multiple diss tracks, no one gets to tell Drake to never refer to the beef or Kendrick ever again. That's stupid. If you don't understand that, that's fine.

Only because Nas' label has him make multiple versions of Ether and didn't agree to release the song till the determined there was nothing defamatory in the lyrics, so as to cover themselves legally.

Posting on Instagram like he always does is now him "acting out"

You're really dumb for thinking a federal judge is keeping tabs on Drake's Instagram account or would even understand what his latest post means outside of it being a post about him having a show in Copenhagen.

You're really dumb for underestimating what she may or may not understand. She understood that AI Pac was Drake goading Kendrick to call him a pedophile just fine. Drake is a high profile celebrity. She hardly has to "keep tabs" to see the post.

    Don't y'all get tired?

"Drake is corny" "Drake isn't hip-hop" "Drake is a b**** for suing" "Drake is a pop star" "Drake's music sucks" and yet, y'all spend more time talking about him than every other rapper y'all claim to prefer combined.

Y'all have gotten stale. Nobody gives a f*** what y'all think or feel about Drake. Know that and know peace.

Because nobody brings up him being a pop star until you compare him to another rapper and then it becomes a knock for some reason. You know that lol come on man

  • It wasnt because it was defamatory...the lyrics were too violent and would have made Nas sounded like a headass. Steve stout also said the beat was wack and nas was rapping way too fast that you couldnt even understand him.
