It is an observation but a disingenuous observation, because to expound on my idea, Drake was a newly signed artist at that moment and BET had to deal with the sudden passing of Mike. I'm only discussing the use of this optic because it is something that's manipulated into nefarious narratives

I personally don't take these types of "attacks" serious against Kendrick, because in essence it's mainly prejudice people being prejudice and should be taken with a grain of salt most times. Like 95% of the time

I agree with you, that's a Wayne problem as one of the girls was his daughter and that was his group, but it's being brought up in a Drake lawsuit thread and that's the part I'm saying is disingenuous. Fortunately this isn't a situation where both sides are intruding on others, but one side definitely invading the others space with that intention using a occurrence like those awards as a Trojan horse to spearhead a narrative

Number-ones only matter if they end up becoming legit hits. This decade, Drake's got a bunch of songs that peaked at #1 but weren't actual hits while he's got a handful of songs that didn't peak at that position that are smashes so it all depends on how you choose to view things.
