So wouldn't it make sense that he's surprised he got snaked?

Are you #following the thinking or just slow

How did he get snaked? The record label let them have their beef, they didn’t step in, Drake lost.

Lucian hit the Tom Cruise when he saw the Drake assassination song win a Grammy and you K-tards are going to try to convince me he wasn’t in on it/happy it f***ed Drake’s brand up

Lucian when he heard Not Like Us for first time before activating the bots

From what I’m seeing this is going horribly for Drake now right?

It was looking better before, correct?

It's moreso the context of everything is a lot more clear now. The only information we were getting before yesterday was cut off and isolated quotes from a biased twitter account present at the proceedings. The disclosure of the transcript shows a bit different of a tone.

I wouldn't be surprised if umg botted NLU on the first day or first week. And I wouldn't surprised if a lot of the Drake singles in the 2020s were botted either

Drake isn’t even the biggest artist on UMG. So he’s really not “keeping the lights on”. He’s just another cog in the machine

he is not taylor, especially not post beef.
but he took the biggest L and is still one of their top streaming performers overall.

they also barely spent money on him in terms of radio play compared to pop artists.

so calling him just another cog is disrespectful to his career and legacy, even if he isnt as big as he used to be.....his popularity was very helpful for the labels in creating the streaming market they profited off like crazy.

u wont find many artists that are beefing with their label and stamped a pdfile that will outdo was drake is doing 15 years into his career

Every artist is just a cog in the machine. No one man is bigger than the program.

The music business existed before him and after him. Yall be too fanned out.

Kobe, Magic, Lebron, etc. none of these guys are bigger than the Lakers/NBA and I don’t think it’s disrespectful to say that

i didnt say he is bigger than the system
but there is a space between being bigger or just another cog

mj was just another cog in the system
yall talking like labels already and diminishing the importance of even the biggest artists.

bron is a legend, the nba aint the nba without bron during his run. same way the game aint the game without drake during his run.

why are you downplaying icons like that ? cr7 as a player is way bigger than just his run at madrid

was big in portugal, big at manu, has fans all over the world. you make it seem like cr7 has no fans outside of madrid/la liga fans when he is one of the biggest players ever

pele doesnt have to be bigger than brazil a a country to be an absolute legend and not just "another cog in the system"

  • Aug 15, 2025

this isn’t your average 360. Drake got 400 million dollars for his masters. Others are getting 100k and a chain. It wasn’t a slave deal. He took a generational bag.

    “Icons”

Ronaldo is all the way in Saudi playing for an irrelevant league and the football world is still going without. So you tell me how he’s bigger than the program?

Mike Tyson was a “icon” too. He would never say he’s bigger than the sport of boxing.

You can be the biggest in your field but ultimately you’re just a part of the system.

yes, everyone is in some way part of the system but downplaying legendary achievements is wild. not everyone could have been mj or messi.

these artists were bigger than their music genre, sport or whatever. no one give a f*** who mj was signed to or what jersey messi wears, the players was the system/brand.

if you dont consider cr7 an icon and goat there is no point in continuing the discussion, you absolutely have no idea how massive he is....also playing in any league as a 40yo is crazy to begin with, while getting paid 100ms a season

i dont even like cr7 but downplaying his career is crazy talk

“Nobody cares what jersey they wear”

Yeah that’s why Kobe refused to play for anybody but the lakers when he was drafted right?

He’s my favorite football player. I’m just not delusional to say he’s bigger than football itself. I saw RM win 2 UCL since he left.

That doesn’t mean he’s not a legend or one of the greatest ever but ultimately he is a part of football he isn’t football or bigger than it.

Just like Drake is a part of the music business. He isn’t bigger than it
