My favorite thing about this thread is with every new development, both sides go on a posting spree. Yesterday was us Drake stans and now today is Kendrick stans/Drake haters

I'm seeing people saying OVODocket is biased like that's something they themselves haven't acknowledged.

They obviously want the case to go in Drake's favor, however, they're also the only ones who since day 1 of the lawsuit being filed, have posted links to full court documents from both sides and repeatedly asked all their followers to actually read the court documents themselves.

Even now, they still ask people to fully read the documents they post links to and come to their own conclusions. People who claim to have an interest in the case are just too lazy to actually read or they read and don't understand a lot of the verbiage and then you've got the people who points things out context for engagement. Mainstream media was very biased in their initial reports of the case and would only report on the things that favored UMG.

It's also worth noting that the judge could have granted or denied UMG's motion to dismiss from June 30, the day of the oral arguments. She hasn't made her decision yet because she hasn't seen enough to make a decision and that could change as early as tomorrow or months down the line.

I've said it here several times that this could go several ways. That's always been the case. Even if the judge denies UMG's motion to dismiss, it doesn't automatically mean Drake will win the case after it goes to trial. UMG's motion to dismiss could also be denied and they could still reach a settlement with Drake before the case goes to trial. The motion to dismiss could also be granted and this whole thing dies. It's a handful of ways this could go.

It's just so funny seeing the same people who were s***ting on Drake fans for pointing out Kojo ducking being served celebrating after getting the minutes from the oral arguments.

They're legit fangirling for UMG, just to spite Drake but watch those same people act like they're suddenly anti-industry the next time UMG has another court case against another artist
