Who are these most people he speaks of
So you think a song like Money Trees has 2 billion streams and people don’t know the words to it?
bro theres a difference between quotables and popular songs
bro theres a difference between quotables and popular songs
A quotable is just a memorable and/or popular line from a song. Again, you think the song has racked up 2B streams and not a single line in the song is memorable?

he ain’t have no quotables until NLU I guess
most people single b**** don’t kill my vibe, swimming pools hook, MAAD city “yak yak” + hook, and money trees but sure keep glazing away
Quotables are an internet only argument, I saw Kendrick for his return performance at Day N Vegas and there were niggas going bar for bar with Section 80 deep cuts
Money Trees also has more streams than every single Drake track on Spotify besides God’s Plan and One Dance btw
“Halle Berry, or Hallelujah” is these niggas just straight being in denial, whatever man
And people forget that J. COLE GOT HEAVY INFLUENCE FROM DRAKE
Just a quick Google:
"J. Cole has publicly acknowledged Drake's influence on his music, particularly during the early stages of his career. He specifically mentioned hearing Drake's "Say What's Real" and the rapid success of "So Far Gone" as pivotal moments that shifted his perspective".
“Halle Berry, or Hallelujah” is these niggas just straight being in denial, whatever man
It’s not “I only love my bed and my mama I’m sorry” so it don’t count to them

if the 02 ain’t turning to the 03, then sorry, it’s not memorable
WHO HAS EVER SAID THIS IN REAL LIFE
The guy just did a months-long stadium tour btw
It’s only a quotable if you can use it as an IG caption or as a snarky 1st ktt post

What J Cole song sounds like Drake
What’s the quotable bar on God’s Plan
bed and my momma
What’s the quotable bar on God’s Plan
"She say, "Do you love me?" I tell her, "Only partly
I only love my bed and my mama, I'm sorry"
Just that
The song doesn't have any other Quotables but that
Qoutables ain’t really even a thing anymore I feel like, ir maybe I’m out the loop. The way most people engage and consume music nowadays, I haven’t really heard anything universally quoted from a song other than Not Like Us in a minute. Most songs people are gonna be able to quote are 5-10 years old at this point, or older. Clipse restoring that, but by and large majority of today’s rappers just don’t rap in a manner that is a real quotable imo. Bossman Dlow comes to mind, but ehh.
I’m not even saying Drake has less quotables than Kendrick, that’s obviously false. But to sit here and act like Kendrick had ZERO before Not Like Us is equally as crazy
