like...if yall like No Make Up that says more about yall tbh lol.

That song did not age well at all but S80 is a classic brother. My top 1 album I can’t believe you don’t agree

    donda a classic too

No. But he somehow captured that TLOP essence once again which I counted him out for at the time. Those albums had huge moments but the music just ain’t enough to qualify them

it's a good introductory album to kendrick lamar the artist but no I don't rank it as gkmc as classics at ALL.

Funny how you left out the actual reception of the albums like that doesn’t matter

Illmatic is the most highlighted classic hip hop album of all time. It did terribly on a commercial level

Beyond Take Care and NWTS, What was the impact and influence of anything past those? What has scorpion and CLB influenced? Nobody ranks these albums on greatest albums lists or even talks about them outside of Drakes fan base

Your whole post is just some crybaby s*** “I’m in love with Drake and everyone else also needs to love him!”

Y’all make it into this grand conspiracy like everyone just secretly hates Drake and we “change the criteria” or some s*** when in reality the albums just ain’t that good, That’s it

whatsthedirt is dumber than the avg kendrick stan in drake threads, i would put anything past him - hes the definition of a clout chaser, prolly saw jareds moves and thought "oh i could do that too"

I mean I think he knows real s*** but finding a woman that clearly was ducking the public eye for a reason all in the name of proof don’t sit right with me. I’m not saying she was on the run from someone or something but she clearly didn’t want to be found. I’ll have to watch his breakdown about it. All this typing could be for nothing if she reached out to him lol

KTT dweebs can’t fathom their favorite albums not being classics. You need to factor in many things besides your the musical appeal when talking classics. Its nuanced which you guys don’t grasp that very well looking at this thread

idk about you, but momma is one of the greatest songs ever made and gets a daily play from me as well as most of that album since I relate to it

Piñata and XXX absolutely influenced and impacted hip hop. What are we doing? You’re talking about the pinnacle of blog era music when you bring those albums up. Freddie curated so many artists jumping on that project, he put rapper-producer collabs back in the forefront, it’s spawned an entire trilogy of albums (Montana otw). Do you understand how many sons Danny birthed with that project? I shouldn’t even have to explain XXX

Daytona is a great project but it’s a fart in the wind when compared to other albums that have their real estate in hip hop. Nobody decided to change anything about their music after Daytona released. Pusha was in the same spot he was before the release. There’s really levels to making a classic outside of just making a perfect album.

Piñata and XXX absolutely influenced and impacted hip hop.

Really because I didn't hear any albums that structured their entire sound based off those two albums after they released. Unless I've been living under a rock

He put rapper-producer collabs back in the forefront, it’s spawned an entire trilogy of albums

Rappers all of a sudden weren't immediately looking to lock in with one producer because of that album

Do you understand how many sons Danny birthed with that project?

Who were Danny's offspring's with XXX? And please don't say that cornball JPEGMAFIA man lol
