Which sandwich spot is that? I think I remember him remember shouting it out on his album’s thank yous. You remember the name? @FitzG
Maybe Mine by Beyonce too?
Think he wrote that with majid and jordan during a beyonce writers camp

Nah. He wrote that entirely by himself. 40/Jordan/Sidney Brown/Key Wayne all produced parts of the song but the song was written entirely by Drake. Majid didn't write any parts of it.
Beyoncè requested Drake come write for her personally. He confirmed it himself.
'"In September 2013, Drake revealed that he was working with Beyoncé on her new project.1 During an interview with Vibe, he talked about his collaboration with Beyoncé on "Mine", stating, "I had fun with it. I always wanted to write for her. She never really sings that minimal... We'll see where that goes."

Yes.
“Hold On” was an early Majid Jordan demo that Drake and Shebib, whom Al Maskati and Ullman describe as a mentor, turned into a worldwide hit. Around that time, the duo co-wrote and co-produced the 2013 Beyonce-Drake collaboration “Mine.” It was one of the few times they’ve written for an artist they didn’t know. “We understand people are really busy with their schedules, but we hope to meet people on a personal level initially, and then hopefully build a conversation about collaborating,” Al Maskati says. “Beyonce was one of those instances where we didn’t even meet. That’s not really how we work. We usually work in sessions with the artist.”
Majid definitely was involved in the writing of Mine.

If that's the case, then where is his name in the credits? Why is only Jordan credited?

You have to understand the way certain language is used when it comes to music. Jordan, 40, Key Wayne and Sidney Brown all being credited as "songwriters" doesn't mean they actually wrote any lyrics. They all produced on the song. That's all they did.
Look at the personnel and all the work they did.

Majid Jordan is highlighted there as providing additional production because Jordan and Majid don't have individual Wikipedia pages. Majid most likely sat it for Jordan's production session, but he didn't actually do anything.
Beyoncè herself reached out to Drake to write for her and he did just that. Every other person that's credited either produced/co-produced. It's also one of the rare instances where an artist has asked Drake to come and write a song for them from scratch. Usually he just gives out songs he's already written. That was what he did for Fall For Your Type, I'm Ready, I'm Single, Un-thinkable, etc.

Yeah, plus most artists talk like that, especially when they sit in on sessions so I'm not surprised Majid said that.
You probably didn't know that their song, My Love, off their debut album was a Drake song that he gave to them, right? Majid even went into it in an old interview. Pretty much confirmed that Drake came up with the concept and had the entire thing written and brought it to them to use on their project and Jordan added some additional production to it for the final product. That's how a lot of his features work as well. They're really his songs that he gifts to other people to either add a verse or take completely for themselves.

Isn't it funny how he's done a lot of work for his own artists but people try to act like they're the ones behind all his work creatively?
S*** is crazy.
He also doesn't speak on it so that also doesn't help but he really shouldn't have to.

you should gather all the information of drakes writing credits on ovo members songs with some of the leaked reference tracks and interviews/videos of them saying drake had his hand in the writing so we can change the narrative in music sxn
if not i'll try to do it when i got less school work

I'll do it if/when I've got time. What's also interesting is that they themselves have spoken on how he's contributed to their work creatively.

Unthinkable was something he wrote for her after conversations they had in the studio and her playing the keys so I'd consider that more of a collaborative effort than a song Drake had ready and just gave to her
"They reached out and she said she really wanted me to do something on her project. But she wanted me to do me, not do an Alicia Keys record. And man, she gave me one of the best studio experiences of my life." He continued: "I came in there and instead of being like, 'Here's the beat, get to work,' she was just like, 'Play me your favorite songs and lets battle.' It's almost like the transition from listening to great music to making a song - like, no one even noticed it, because she started playing the keys and I just started writing the melodies."
