Her Loss is pretty “universally” (as far as Drake projects go) lauded though

    Meh.

It is "just" a WATTBA pt 2 but with 21 instead of Future for me.

Honestly, both are probably the albums I come back to the least amount of times from Drake.

I feel like this is a hallucination that it is a "universal" thing. Because some internet warriors were quieter than usual for whatever reason.

Likely because it was a reaction on Honestly, never mind.... who in turn wasnt so "universal" but is way better imo!

But internet warriors, gonna internet warrior. They s***ted on the dance album and just good vibes album, then hyped up Her Loss beacause it was more "rap". Then they couldnt say s***.

For me I know what has aged better though.

And I still like Her Loss. I just dont find myself coming back to it as much as other albums.

    Im not dogging it.

Just because I dont go back to it as much as other projects, personally, doesnt make it bad. Or that Im "dogging it".

If anything the reception for HN compared to Her Loss makes for a good case study. How perception is deceiving. How the internet and twitter can be deceiving.

Drake has never really dropped a bad project or bad music to me.

But that Her Loss is "universially lauded" is a take I cant agree on. Because you have to add in different factors in why that is even a "thing". I think it is like I said. A loud minority was mad that HN was a dance album and s***ted a lot on it... he then dropped a straight to the point rap-collab and shut them up. It is just what happened.

I believe with time and having had time to live with the music, as I said, it is clear which has aged better but that also doesnt make "Her Loss" bad either. For me it is on the lower end of his discography, imo. But as Drake discog is so vast and everyone seems to like him for different things... we aint gonna come to much of agreement. Especially as straight up haters always comes in with their moronic takes on the music as well as he is so polarizing.

might have done 100k if they dropped the tracks immediately after the FOMO stream

No way lil yatchy helped with her loss

He's got ad-libs throughout, claims to have chosen the cover, etc... isn't this literally peak Yachty influence period lol

Thought the same thing but if I had to guess I’d say he’s gonna say “check the amount”
