“Flexing” has been a core part of hip hop for literally ever. From f***ing Rappers Delight, Big Daddy Kane & Slick Rick, Pac & Big, Wayne’s bling era, etc

I think the criticism is valid especially if you mention Nas or Jay of all rappers who don’t only flex in their music and Dre who’s album at 35 is nowhere similar to his album at 50 lmao.
