    Drake just got to let Ross pick his beats from now on at this point. Imagine Drake rapping on beats like Sixteen or Santoroni Greece or Free Mason??

    Even the beats for Nas' last album were excellent. His best produced album in a minute.

    Drake has an excellent ear. He always has and always will. I just think he's gotten a bit comfortable with rapping over certain beats, especially when it's time to go on longform rapping.

    Basically where I’m at. I get the sound but @thegreatdivine is right about the drum pattern. The auto tune isn’t good either. But the bars were good. I like the energy of the song.

    Just wanted to make my point clearer. All 3 songs in that pack sounded so different from each other and that was refreshing. Even Lemon Pepper Freestyle had a simple production but the sample was excellent and the bars over it were crazy and on songs like that, you have to be careful not to do too much on the production end of things.

    Some people will be fine with him doing more of the same and that's well and good but those same people should also not be surprised if/when there are criticisms that follow.

    100% agree. I was just talking with my younger brother about how Scary Hours 2 is the perfect EP. It just flows super well and like you said, each song is different and unique from each other. S*** is glorious.

    The transition from What’s Next to Wants and Needs is excellent. And then going into Lemon Pepper Freestyle but having Ross’ verse first and a long Drake verse after. I also loved how Drake switched up his flow mid-way through his verse with the “Dubai embrace me like I’m Emirate” while having the “facts” ad-lib. Very important touch.
