Was wondering the same thing. They just announced the release date and went radio silent. Very weird.

Did Netflix cut the promo budget this time?

Feels like they cut the promo budget for all they shows because even Ozark one of they biggest shows barely got promo and came and went in a week

It definitely feels like that. Feels like the previous season had a lot more promo.

The cast should be out doing interviews and other press and we should have gotten a trailer by now, since the new season drops in like 3 weeks.

A review said the season ended like it was being set up for another season but we'll see. I don't see it going beyond a third season at Netflix but you never know. If this season does really well, Netflix will renew it for yet another season.

I have no doubt this will be a great season that warrants a season 3 but I just hate Netflix model of dropping whole seasons and keeping it moving.

If this show was on hbo it would be way bigger because of the 1 episode a week model brings more discussion

That's true. Netflix's binge-watching doesn't really help shows. Season 2 of the Witcher really didn't have any impact. Same with the first half of the final season of Ozark.

I feel like Top Boy will be fine. Many people who weren't there for S1 that dropped back in 2019 are all caught up now and are eagerly waiting for this season.

I hope it does have some impact online, though. That'd help.
