Yes I have a team of RBTs under me, I commend anyone who gets certified, just make sure you have the patience and thick skin to do this job, you post here so I’m sure you’ll be fine

There’s an assortment of challenging behaviors you have to be prepared for, including things with bodily fluids, severe scratches, bites, physical aggressions, hair pulling, and honestly more than I can name off the top of my head

But it’s incredibly rewarding and it’s a great profession to grow in, the real money is when you get BCaBA or BCBA certified tho, don’t expect to make a bunch as a RBT

I personally am not a fan of clinics, that’s why I work in a school, but a clinic is a great way to get paid for the RBT certification and to kinda learn the basics
