Kronic coping using the stats he retrieved from his excel docs

this was impressive a few years ago but in the current climate it's like kanye spending five years at #1 on the top gospel albums chart. the competition isn't there, it doesn't exist.

Yea this year was pretty dead otherwise. If Cole’s album had more commercial appeal or if Kendrick/Future/Trav dropped there would be a more interesting discussion. Still an impressive feat for Drake to bounce back from beef this soon unscathed though

  • Mr Carter

    Both are true

Drake has had one song out of 43 that did anything special. Those aren’t great odds

Numbers don’t matter man real music gon last

2 out of 3 of those tracks are from the streaming era

Hotline and one dance barely count. It's like 1997-2000 tech transition. Those songs were hits on the radio

Both sides need to decide whether billboard matters or not and stick with it rather than flip flop when it conveniences them

    Nothing is sticking”

    To

Well there isn’t much competition anyway”

when i say there's no competition, i mean there's drake, a grand canyon sized chasm, then kendrick, then everyone else. even in 2018 the gap between him and the rest of the rap game wasn't this large.

he's pretty much the only rapper who can thrive commercially at all anymore (and that's not really a complaint, just an observation of reality).

  • GodzillaMinusOne

This being a bigger "hit" than Hotline, Hold On, On One and One Dance is criminal. Separate streaming era ffs

Like comparing the NBA pre and post 3 point line

it isn’t a bigger hit than any of those songs but especially not one dance or hotline bling

Yeah tbh I wasn’t referring to you in particular, I get what you’re saying

I am saying those who spent time bragging about gnx billboard hits can’t be shocked at this . I care about what I’m listening to not the general population. McDonald’s served a billion that got nothing to do with me

Working with Lucian the biggest Zionist in music isn’t excused by signing a ceasefire or a song mentioning Gaza after lines about his d*** man if he wanted to he has full freedom to actually make a statement but chooses not to for business reasons . He gambled more than he has donated im not saying he is Zionist but he isn’t anti Zionist or truly fully supporting

Drake has never been one to be political in his music and he still chose to stay in the right side of history

Gotta do better then Lucian = boogeyman lolololz
