oh Ive been collecting comic books for almost 20 years. im a huge comic book fan. It’s a neutral medium, that has stories for all age groups. Im reading watchmen for the fourth time in my life right now, which is about as serious as a piece of fiction can get, in any medium. every like 5 years or so i give it a reread.
im also in a cute little comic book club on ktt where we read one every week which is fun.
But there is a general stereotype that things involving superheroes, comics, etc are for “children” even though it’s innacurate.
and he’s more so making an off the cuff comment poking fun at that perception, while being a fan and consumer of the content himself
