My main gripe with Wait for U is that it should have been longer. Drake just starts getting into his verse when it comes to end. This is the kind of song you make 5 minutes long if necessary so you have more than enough time to get all your bars off. It's too short a song but it's excellent nonetheless.

Wait For Me is definitely a stylistic choice imo

They just don't pop enough over the beat, this is one of the main reasons Drake became so popular & is very common with pop music in general & imo a big reason Drake's music isn't popping enough as it used to. His voice used to dominate tracks, they don't recently.
