the script and vision for LP2 was amazing, this nigga was hung from the RAFTERS my nigga. that build up via the stream for LP2 leading up to that was crazy. if they had zoomed out the camera more for the livestream, you could have actually seen the thematic story Ye was tryna get off on LP2 leading up to recreating the marriage. it seems like Donda had a loose story being told across each LPs, I just haven’t taken the time to sit down and a***yze it cause this nigga ruined my fandom by being a Nazi. But yea, I wasn’t impressed by Drake’s stream, but I liked that he tried something new. It wasn’t innovative tho if that’s what you’re tryna say lmao, but it was different and a challenge and I commend him for that. It’s hard to livestream and move around, especially if they were actually streaming live and not on delay

One thing I got from the interview was that it was aimless for me to think too deeply about the "messaging" behind the live streams. He just wanted to do something large scale, technically daunting and cinematic that pushed him and was something he'd never done before and regardless of how I feel about the music that was premiered, the live streams checked all those boxes.

Same concept behind the fake traditional album rollout for Her Loss. None of it really mattered in the end but it was him doing something different and something he'd never done before.
