Yeah it sounds like the album he wanted to make with VIEWS but didn't quite have the courage to go all the way with. Not discrediting VIEWS, but it seemed clear back then hes wanted to make an album like this for a minute.

everyone knows abt off white but ppl don't really know what virgil did for the culture man. virgil is why I am who I am today fr. he's why I can love this album n not get filtered
I have my own criticisms of Virgil, and I kinda feel like I was being way too critical while he was living.
The hypebeasts just got on my nerves.
But in retrospect, he was a talented creative, he really revitalized LV and his Off-White x Nike collabs are awesome
I had a pair of the metallic 5s, I think I want to get them again.
