Where they were just pursuing what they wanted to do. So that’s why at the end of the day, even tho it’s not my thing I get it and respect it cuz he’s just saying f*** it and making the music he wants to make. Which is fine. I think we have different standards on what someone’s discography “should” look like when that’s not always what we want and doesn’t negate their past efforts, nor condemns their futures or how they’ll be viewed down the line
A good take I respect your opinion. Drake is an artist he has to drop experimental music once in a while to keep us guessing. I think if this was another rap album so soon the reception would be worse. Drake is smart for being like them and switching things up that's what legends do
