BrickellBaysidetbh the disconnect lies in Drake actually being a great major label recording act
His music is made in large part to get panned, it has quite a bit of low hanging fruit characteristics
But the people who actually buy tickets to shows, buy albums, share albums, etc. aren't on KTT or in IG comments debating albums, and that's who his albums are for the most part geared towards.
I can agree with that. Criticism and controversy really doesn’t seem to affect his numbers because real people who not really on the internet all day still f*** with him
