I’ve tried to see where people are coming from but honestly I just don’t see how people don’t like this
They are just posting negativity for a dopamine hit

As much as people complained that they wanted him to do something different the fact is they weren’t ready to see him switch up. Most of Drakes fan base are casuals and don’t like music that is different from what they are used to hearing. Had a girl literally admit that about this and Dawn FM when we were having a convo about music.
And a lot of people buy into the stigmas around house/dance music ie it being gay club music or oontz oontz music etc and people would rather joke than challenge themselves as listeners
Finally, I personally think a lot of people who “don’t like it” are really just followers who listen to it once or twice and find ways to rationalize the critiques from the critics since “they can’t be wrong” lol
Also one more thing I think the black community in general is very rigid and conservative but y’all not ready to have that conversation
I wonder if Drake tried to make this as quick as possible to emulate a YEEZUS style 2-week miracle?
Makes sense since he uses the Virgil soundbite talking about the YEEZUS cover

Yeezus was worked on for years lmao
Virigl soundbite is obviously because the album is dedicated to Virgil and fitting for how Drake/Gordo/Black Coffee put this together and it working as well as it did.
I hope this nigga Drake is aware that this is the most impressive thing he’s done creatively in his career and he’s ignoring the noise
went to a strip club and heard Calling My Name, the bass sounds good on a speaker

I am outside this weekend and have heard several songs from this played
Very curious that KTT2 said this was mid and wouldn’t be played anywhere!
Ktt doesn't go outside irl
I’m convinced anyone that dislikes this album just doesn’t appreciate vibes
Right, I'm like, "What do you listen to then?"
I like this album but Kinge's reaction is the funniest s*** I've heard
I hate these guys. They review the person and not the music.
Tested this album at the lake today >>>>>
