Why would I keep you around?

I dont wanna come out too strong but I'm moving to your room now.
Havent been able to sleep cuz this been stuck in my head
Is that really the line? I've seen that or "to your rhythm"
If it's the former, I'm gonna just keep saying "Yoruba"
Also why does it say rap album on Pitchfork
They don't even know what they're reviewing
I don't agree with the points made in the review but I've seen people point this out, they don't really change the genre between artists' releases like that. It's just being lazy
Why would I keep you around?
Why would I keep you around?
Why would I keep you around?
Why would I keep you around?
I FOUND A NEW MUSE
Is that really the line? I've seen that or "to your rhythm"
If it's the former, I'm gonna just keep saying "Yoruba"

F*** up the jbp said it’s real
he conveniently deletes 20 or so followers right after he said it’s fake and backtracks but somehow it’s not real. just wait til that music video comes out
F*** up the jbp said it’s real
You act like they got some insider information. Them niggas just saw the same tweet as all of us.
Listened to this several times straight through. S*** just isn’t hitting for me. Huge drake fan. But my problem is he isn’t saying s***, at least anything meaningful. And sounds pretty bad on several tracks. 2nd half of falling again is embarrassing. Chalk it up and wait on the next project I guess
You saying “he isn’t saying s***” makes it sound like you’re still expecting to be wowed lyrically and it’s just not that type of music. This is feel first music. The lyrics are great too but they don’t start hitting you until you really get into to the music.
Obviously there are no bars and not much introspection here which is to be expected for this genre but his writings about modern dating are as compelling as ever here. His thoughts on searching for love, finding infatuation, connecting and disconnecting, and loneliness are super relatable and easy to connect with on this project
You entitled to your opinion tho bro just wanted to give you my perspective before you completely give up on the project. It’s a really beautiful body of work.
Edit: Also the singing on here especially on Falling Back isn’t supposed to be impressive in the traditional sense. On that record in particular he’s expressing emotion and pain through the autotune in the same vein as something Ye would do. They def have different approaches to doing that tho
