afterimageI’m interested in seeing what he does this decade. He’s already accomplished so much, he knows he’s top dog in rap, commercially he’s got it and everything else. I’m ready to see how he moves from this point on as his generation takes the backseat a bit from being the hot trending topics.
Gonna be exciting to see for the big 3 in general but def Kenny and drake for me. Maybe in drake more just because he’s in such a unique position rn he really has the potentiometer move the sound/culture forward in a fresh direction.

IndigoI think I would just be down for more frequent but concise projects that explore a singular genre. I’m ok if he does rap only again like IYRTITL considering he raps differently now then he did back then. But also based on the radio show and intro, I thought we were getting a 14 track really somber and sad rnb album. Would really love to hear something like that too.

he might be, but it’s what his fans want and what makes him the most money seemingly in the end of the day. i’m sure drake wasn’t thrilled by the lowish numbers this album did. not good for his brand so to speak.
I doubt he cares at this point of his career. His back catalog is outdoing people who are dropping multiple albums a year. There's never been a better time to try s*** he's never done before.

Instead of the typical, link with trending young rapper for hot song. Maybe it ends up forming some type of friendship later

i understand this thinking i really do but part of what makes drake drake is that he is top dog in fact, with the most sales the biggest first weeks. ofc in the end of the day, duh, he doesn’t care he just made a quick buck of this s***. but, i’m sure he’s a tad disappointed people aren’t rocking with it a tad more is all. the big numbers on his studio albums is what makes him him.
