ASAKITo me, it sounds like he's way more invested in this project than he was rapping on CLB. The project, at a minimum, at least is consistent in terms of sound and s***.
Like I said before, he's probably been wanting to make this type of album since Views, but knew his casual fanbase would hate it.
I think he coulda made this in 2017 and been fine, because its drake, CLB was a bit of a drag for me too, I think I came away liking about half the album all in all, although some of those were mainly because Im a fan of whoever was featured

Worldwide steppers beat is weird af but cool imo. The pulse of it is like a mouse getting chased down. It’s weird and for that it’s experimental, who tf would rap on this lol

The other songs are like really slow ambient piano beats and I just think that counts as experimental too, idk
Defining Experimental is a hard one to really pin down tho and in the end it’s all just opinion really
