You think this is more “experimental” than MMBS?

    Absolutely and I love MMTBS

Wildest s*** about the reception of this album is people really out here saying “this is more of the same” lol

Like really? I’m seeing users on here and critics say that dumb s*** and I’m baffled. This s*** is the most experimental album Drake has ever dropped. More experimental than anything any member of the big 3 has dropped might I add. Why is Drake the only Nigga that has to reject his entire brand in order for people to say he switched it up?

They are blinded by their hate. Miserable people that only feel comfortable knowing other people are miserable.

Drake just keep winning and they hate it! Because they are losers and unhappy with their own situation in life. You can tell by the way they articulate themselves. It is fine not liking something, but every time? And the same pathetic reasons. They be telling on themselves.

There’s instances like Take Care the song, HOWGH, passionfruit, get it together where you can see drake slowly leading up to something like Honestly Nevermind

Nothing Drake will ever do will please some people. If he had released another rap album, they'd have bashed and called it "more of the same" regardless of what it was. That's why critics/Twitter takes on Drake's music don't mean s***. Especially when those same people who s*** on his music will have him as their most listened to artist on their Spotify/Apple Music year-end lists.

Like Drake would ever do that. He said a long time ago who he makes music for and it was not for dweebs.

The beats he’s rapping over are highly unconventional (for the most part, before you bring up a song like Purple Hearts), the things he’s rapping about are highly unconventional (things like transgender people and molestation in his community), and the structure of the album being a therapy session instead of a playlist like most albums nowadays. Not to mention one of the songs paying homage to one of the darkest songs in hip-hop history.

Yes this is a new territory for drake in terms of making a full on, focused dance album. He hasn’t done that before, but it’s a sound he’s done and done well in the past. He just honed in on it which is dope, the album is incredible. However it’s not experimental at all, and not really experimental in the same way an album like MMBS is.

Kendrick, Weeknd, and Drake all opened their albums with pleb filters I love it
