Jun 17, 2022album cover art would look great on merch. 1st listen and I’m surprised to say that im not completely disappointed by a drake project in 2022. Lots of tracks with potential to grow on me Wish Drake’s delivery was more impassioned/foregrounded on some tracks. Agree that it could’ve benefited from some rnb features but I also enjoy the singular voice/vision Aubrey executed on with this album.

shaleiroseI honestly have no idea what this is gonna sell first week.
It was a surprise release 9 months after his last full length project which hurts it, but it was also marketed as an album, which helps it.
The reactions have been very mixed and it completely alienates his core fanbase, but the people enjoying it seem to be really enjoying it.
And it’s only 14 songs with one feature, so it definitely won’t reach the 600K and 700K of his previous two which had 20+ songs and various features.
I feel like it could be anywhere from 200K-450K just because of how much Drake dominates streaming, but also it could be that low because of how polarizing and alienating the album is
I think it’ll be 300K-400K first week. First week sales have been down in general and it also doesn’t have the DONDA vs. CLB stimulus attached.
