I’ve skimmed a couple reviews for this and one of the main criticisms for this is that he’s not saying anything new on this album. And while I understand what they mean, this isn’t exactly the type of album to showcase lyricism or personal growth. This album is completely about the pockets and the grooves and the moods that the music makes you feel.
Judging a house/dance album based off of its lyrical content is really weird to me
