Jeeze, stop being so cynical. I have a cousin that believes in meditation and warding off evil, he also carries a million special stones and crystals around with him. He worships the earth and is avery serious vegan. I used to rib him here and there about it until realized that I'd much rather support his happiness and well being and since he wasn't hurting himself or anyone else I became cool with it. Even humored him and participated some. The important thing to take away from this is that people aren't a bunch of numbers and statistics and everybody needs something to believe in.
you gotta believe in something...
This is something that Napoleon Hill writes extensively about in his book titled, "Think and Grow Rich." It's the epitome of "The Secret," which is essentially a modern reimagination of Think and Grow Rich. It's not necessarily about envisioning things and then having them come to you in mysterious ways. No, it's more about thinking about your ideal life in such a way, that you begin to obsess over it. So much so, that envisioning your future self to such an extent actually causes you to make decisions in the present moment that guide you towards the life you dream of. Powerful stuff when broken down in simple terms.
i agree with this very much. i think that the loa is really just a visualizing technique to help one identify exactly what they want to align themselves with and work towards. if you don't know what exactly what you want to accomplish...you are not going to get far

You’ve worked with a lot of people and artists. Who would you say has taught you the best lesson?
One time I went to the studio and Drake was there, and he invited me and Julian Cruz to one of his sessions and see what he’s recording. He played “Tuscan Leather” and that song with PartyNextDoor; “Own It” and it was just an experience seeing his vision and the goal board he had in there.
What do you mean? Drake looks at a vision board while he records?
Yeah, it’s just a board of all the things he wants to accomplish in his life all the things he’s already accomplished. There’s like magazine covers, pictures from his childhood … I don't remember too intensely what was on them, but it was a really cool thing to see. Since then I’ve been learning to set my own goals. P.Reign taught me a lot about always working on your music, because he also has a really great work ethic and drive. Really just creating what's on my mind and not over thinking things. I’ve learned it’s important for things to just come from your heart. I find that when I make music with that mentality it comes out the best.
“He’s gonna sell millions” wow these are the type of people you need in your life in order to succeed

This isn’t true. Yes you become aligned with your vision and your goals, but also things literally start changing in the exterior world for your manifestation to happen. Hard to believe at first but it’s real

Was reading his caption and noticed the theme of manifestation so I decided to do a little digging
He's manifested both of his mansions:

“This house was the desktop image on my computer years before I bought it,” Drake says. “I was like, ‘What are the world’s craziest residential pools?’ and when I searched online, this came up.” In 2007, a then-unsigned Drake tried, and failed, to hunt this place down during an L.A. trip. In 2009, the compound hit the market with an asking price of $27 million. The seller, a steakhouse-chain restaurateur, “was at a low moment,” Drake recalls. “He needed money.” In 2012, Drake purchased the property for $7.7 million. “I stole it from him!”

Draft DayMy Way Remix"That boy manifested it, that boy knew it was written
That boy did it on purpose
That boy know that they s***tin' on you, and they can't get past you
You should've followed all my moves, you won't realize 'til after
And if I left s*** to chance I would've picked a name like Chance the Rapper
Star67All I gotta do is put my mind to this s***.
BothI been had these visions of the life I'm livin' since I was Jimmy
All I had to do was just go and get it, and now we--
Lose YouThis some s*** I wrote about when I was broke
See the power of the mind is not a joke
I said that I would do it and I did
Used to get leftovers out the fridge
Back when I would write and not think about how they receive it
I be tryna manifest the things I needed
And look, now, I mean, it's hard to believe it even for me
But you're mindful of it all when your mind full of it all
Anyone else notice this?
whoever bumped this thread made me realize the random mansion I used to describe for a spanish presentation a couple years ago, was actually drakes
Love this thread
These manifestation gurus tell us, with a wealth of vague detail, that you can visualize and manifest whatever you want.
Example:
Let's say I am in the e-commerce business. To increase that business all I have to do is imagine it increased to "see" last week's orders increased by 50, then by 100 and so forth, until well, these people are shy about giving limits, but if the law is true for 50, it ought to be true for 1 million if I can imagine so many. Of course, the law is not true; it is quack psychology.
Humans have a psychological tendency to believe that just because event A happened before event B, event A caused event B. This is the correlation/causation error.
The manifestation/LOA business preys on people who don't understand logic, statistics, or science. It's a good business model, and if your primary goal is to separate uneducated people from their money, you can make a large fortune.
Reticular activation system
You are creating your universe by way of the thoughts you hold, you attract every circumstance to your life cuz of how and what you think about. It’s not no imaginary magic s***, it’s a fundamental law of the universe my nigga
Been reading Neville Goddard and learning about manifestation lately, trippy to see Drake aware about it on this level and he's a great example of it.
He’s good - read the secret or watch the movie
He’s good - read the secret or watch the movie
I heard the master key system is a more advanced version of the secret
how do i start manifesting?
Positive thinking
Meditation
Journaling
Living as if whatever you are trying to manifest has already been manifested
This has brought many blessings into my life :)
