Concerts starting back up in September from what I've seen broski. You gonna try to catch RMR when he comes for his tour? Only like $25

Hmmm not really that big a fan outside of Rascal but that’s not a bad price at all, what you think your first post pandemic show will be?

Probably RMR tbh. Seems like its one of the first shows in general and the price is reasonable. He's only hitting Toronto and Montreal though
I know there are more bookings to come but if were basing it off the first 6 events announced, this venue looks like it isn't going to be catering to local music fans
How are you basing that off the first artists announced? Does that even make any sense?

What better way to launch a new venue than to have a run of shows featuring a bunch of the local artists that started making noise during the pandemic but haven't had a chance to do shows in their own home city?
Drake is arguably the biggest rapper in the world, you'd think a venue he's attaching his name to would cater to fans of a similar audience.
With that being said, I hope I am wrong and get to see many local artists perform at History

You're doing the most for no reason at all. The artists currently being announced are the first ones to have booked shows at the venue. It's that simple. They'll announce shows for artists as they get booked at the venue and any black artists who book the venue will get announced.
It hasn't even been 6 hours since the venue itself was announced and you're already doing the most because the first 5 artists announced weren't black. Relax.

Fax 📠…negative energy… he don’t even know if any artist tried to book an event… let alone its co owned by live nation…

And you will, just relax. They said they plan on holding 200 events at the venue every year with most of those being music concerts. How about just wait and see the artists who get announced as having booked the venue over the next few days, weeks, months
Also, wait and hear people's experiences at the venue before jumping to all these conclusions off of nothing.

Wonder which venue this will take business from away the most

Will be interesting to see the venue landscape post covid. El Mocambo is reopening too

REBEL. Same capacity, many people don't like the venue and it's closed while this is just opening up.
