gonna be honest this is more an acceptance of culpability rather than a kind gesture

How are they culpable?

Just listen to yourself
Shouldn’t have been allowed to go on for so long, but it’s nice to see people come together to help. A lot of their creator content needs way harsher moderation.
Just listen to yourself
If Adin Ross is a co-owner of the site how does he not share at least a bit of responsibility?

I don't think ownership or part ownership of a platform makes you liable for whatever happens on it.
It would be like if niggas used T-Mobile to traffic s*** and the government holds the CEO personally liable.

Not really the same because the owners of Kick were promoting and donating to the streams where this guy was getting abused.
The equivalent to your scenario would be like if the CEO of T mobile promoted and aided the trackers

Did Adin Ross or Drake do that?

The platform that Adin Ross is an owner of did, yes.
And I left Drake out because he isn’t an owner of kick. Just an employee

No, did Adin Ross personally promote or reward the psychopaths carrying out the crime?
Because if he did, then f*** him to the fullest extent of the law, but if he didn't and he simply owns/co-owns the company, then he isnt personally culpable.
At a stretch, you could give him shot for not enforcing rules that would make this sort of behavior difficult to carry out on his platform, but that's about it, really.

He is personally culpable because he helped create the site and the culture of the site where its basically unmoderated to the point where you have to kill somebody or almost kill someone to catch a perma. He directly profits from the site

The mental gymnastics they do to clear any wrong doings by their favorites is disgusting
The owners, the viewers of that stream, especially the donators are all responsible for that man’s death and there’s not a PR stunt in this world that will change that

You dont think the owners of this site can be held morally or legally responsible for promoting a stream where a guy literally got tortured to death? Like what are we doing?

We've gone from Drake and Adin Ross being personally culpable, to just Adin Ross being personally culpable because he co-owns the site, to Adin Ross being personally culpable because he promoted the stream.
Do you see how you're constantly moving the goal posts?
If Adin Ross promoted the stream, wrote or otherwise oversaw the ToS of Kick, then he's absolutely liable.
Bit simply co-owning the site doesn't make him personally responsible for everything that goes on on it. I don't know how else I can explain that.

I’ve from the beginning said Adin Ross is culpable because he is a co owner of the site and the site promoted the stream. Never once said anything about Drake during my back and forth with you.
I made it a point to explicitly leave Drake out of it because he doesn’t own the site. I never once switched up my points or moved the goalposts. You’re just stupid and can’t follow a conversation

Did you jump into the conversation halfway and now feel embarrassed to the point of personal insults?
