This would be my second concert I'm going to. (weeknd convert was amazing btw) Do you recommend buying tickets on release day or wait a couple weeks before the show starts?
For this the cheapest you will get is the official presale or general sale, resale will not go down for this show
Copped my tickets. Even though they're in the nosebleeds. Bridgestone Arena in Nashville really doesn't have a bad seat especially if the stage is in the middle. Never cared for floor seats anyways tbh.
Copped 3 upper level tickets in New Orleans, always needed a reason to visit New Orleans now I got it
Y’all think Ticketmaster gonna let us list our tickets for resell after the presale is over?

its different nowadays man. very, very, very few shows i got to have prices drop on resale as the show comes up like in the old days. many times the prices just go up as people just start buying them up.
overall, you gotta have an idea of what you are willing to pay from the start. try to get tickets on release day, BUT also check resale sites on the release hour too. generally retail on release day will be the cheapest the ticket will be. sometimes you come across shows where they did s***ty promotion and so you will find ticket prices lower than retail for resale. not common, but it happens, but not anywhere as common as before the pandemic.
usually if i cant get a seat that i like for a concert, then i actually DONT buy a ticket. rational thinking would be like "well, you should at least get A ticket in case it sells out, even if its not one youre happy with". lets say though i find a better ticket and buy that. then im trying to resell my original retail ticket i bought-- the amount of profit you MIGHT make is not worth the time and effort that comes with trying to resell it. I'd rather just not buy a ticket, and pay 50 to 100 bucks more for a seat i truly want and am happy with and that's it.
tldr: try to buy retail. but check resale. a lot. retail will likely be lowest cost.
Is demand higher than the last tour? I don’t remember having any difficulty buying a $150 floor ticket back then. The fact I can’t buy a $450 one now is insane.
That tour was coming off four #1s in a calendar year too
You think cause it’s been 5 years since last tour a big factor?
concert better be 6 hours long

Gotta remember he was touring every year back then. Drake toured every year from 2008-2019 except 2011. Some years, like in 2014, he went on two tours.
This is his first tour since then. Makes sense that demand is way higher.

imo, demand is somewhat artificially higher for almost all concerts than what it was in the past. wait for the sea of pink when the TM resale option is made available.
i was just frustrated two weeks ago that i couldnt get tickets, and it made me realize that for a long part of my life, how much money i had determined if i got tickets or not. since the pandemic, even if i have 1000 to drop on a seat, it doesnt matter, because now its simply a matter of the waiting room running man lottery if i get tickets or not.
straight up sucks.
Bought floor bad bunny tickets at $300 each face value
for this recent tour??
Y’all think Ticketmaster gonna let us list our tickets for resell after the presale is over?
typically its after all general sales have opened. sometimes it takes a few days, overall whether youre selling or buying, i would recommend doing the resale transactions directly with pp g&s than doing it through TM
for this recent tour??
yep
he had different packages too, ranging from 500 to 1000.
s*** was insane. and people bought all of it.
for this recent tour??
Yes, I copped day of the show the venue dropped more for face value on Ticketmaster

You can list them on StubHub, Gametime and Tickpick rn with just the seat information
Looks like we’re all gonna be subject to the “dynamic pricing” tactic smh.

Same thing happened for Wayne I watched tickets jump in price by like $30 when I got booted out of a queue the first time
