Part of me does think Drake does the absolute bare minimum these days and he should do more but in this instance also an artist shouldn’t feel the need to be desperate and go all out just because another does lol.

He absolutely should do stuff like release CDs, vinyls, etc. He don’t even want to give fans basic s***? Also doesn’t do much visuals anymore, the merch drops are lazy, etc. The “auto pilot success” with his music really did ruin his drive in terms of effort outside the studio.

In this instance though it’s just someone doing absolutely anything to go #1 and at that point it’s not even worth the sweat.

The album is going #1 with huge numbers and he already has a bunch of chart hits + this album will spam the entire chart this week anyways.
