Idc if she block the song as long as the album number 1
Drake at the rate he's going, he will end up with over 20 number 1’s anyway

Drake might get the #1 debut on the Hot 100 regardless.

he’d never in a million years be able to get away with what Taylor did and is doing with her album. Would be an asterisk by all that s*** and narratives and headlines accompanying every different version released lol

Just picturing people in 50 years looking back on what song went #1 this week in 2022 and listening to the lyrics of Rich Flex.

Drake literally brags about not needing to use cheap tactics for his chart tactics. It would be out of character.

How does she sleep at night knowing all her stats are manipulated by cheating the system

Because she knows that won't matter in the future to casual fans. They won't see context they'll just see big numbers and have a warped sense of our current landscape just like how many black musicians were popular and innovative in every decade but we only hear of The Beatles, Elvis, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Elton, John, Eminem, etc because the industry let them get away with every trick in the book to game the system. This has always happened and will continue to happen unfortunately. You're only seeing it happen in real time now so you're realizing the games the industry has been playing

If it weren't for people like Jimi Hendrix Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Drake music would be whitewashed to hell and back. Just to be clear I don't have a problem with those white artists but a black artist could never dream of getting away with half the s*** they did to get to the top. They'd change the rules and find new loopholes for their puppets to use while everyone else plays catch up. I'm glad Drake doesn't bother with those gimmicks and he still runs circles around 99% of the industry

I'd lose some of my respect for him. It would be crushing like finding out LeBron used steroids or Tarantino had someone else direct his movies for him

Seeing him succeed isn't why Drake stans love him it's seeing him succeed in a world full of cheaters thats where the admiration comes from
