Pains me to say it but Pusha album might not even crack the top 10 this year for me
It's outta there tbh but definitely a few hard tracks

Yeah definitely but overall a step down from Daytona. Kanye didn’t even give 50% of what he is capable of and Pharrell beats weren’t that hard either besides some exceptions
Drake opens “Rich Flex” with the kind of rapping-to-one-another hook (“21, can you do somethin’ for me?”) that blows past So Far Gone to recall groups from the 1980s and early ‘90s.
BIG credits to the writer for pointing this out and not just riding that meme. Been saying that's just some old school s***
Drake and 21 are not among us brother we can't know for sure
since they’re doing a troll rollout we’ll never kno unless like 40 or some s*** reveals it

Yeah it also reminded of 90s rap groups and that’s why i found it really dope how they opened up the album
I don't agree with the score but I'm not mad at that review. Whatever. They all hate Drake and will continue to try their hardest not to be satisfied lol
Much better than whatever Rolling Stone published

Everybody ran to the same easy joke when it's actually a really cool callback lol starts out the album hard af. Drake really loves this music s***.
Which is exactly why RENAISSANCE is the AOTY
Really the best answer to be honest
S*** is masterful
Her Loss best rap record tho, perfect balance of skill/talent, fun, drama, nostalgia, experimentation, and turn up

Critics just need to stop reviewing Drake man
They obviously don’t get it and never will. Whatever it is they think Drake SHOULD be doing he’s never going to do and the things that he IS doing that everybody loves always goes right over their heads.
I remember back in the Hov, Ye era reviews were kinda accurate. When the streets loved a Jay-Z album it usually got critical acclaim. When the streets felt like a Jay-Z album wasn’t it the critics usually followed suit. The critics of that era actually felt like they represented the culture at least to some extent.
Now critics are whiny, entitled, condescending, contrarian pricks who are impossible to please unless you are on their token rap artist list.
They care way more about stroking their own egos and getting views/clicks than they care about actual music, at least when it comes to rap.

the whole "just eh" category is blasphemous honestly

I don’t think I’ve ever read a critic review in full in my life and that definitely won’t change. Too much $$$ and politics involved, then you have people taking it as gospel without coming to their own opinion first
