Collab albums usually sell lower FW than the solo album, even if you're Drake. that's just what it is. Not every Drake fan wants to hear him do an album with 21 Savage, so they won't peep it. its just about audience overlap

Multiple factors

1. Drake rapping rapping on most of it
2. Very consistent in quality
3. Funny bars that translate well with the fun energy
4. Doesn’t overstay it’s welcome in length

His past few projects are usually missing one of those or more. I’m not gonna go into how I personally feel about Scorpion or CLB but I will say both of those albums were defended A LOT more then this one has been. In fact, I’ve seen very little criticism on the actual quality.
