I was already 30 then so it’s not like I have rose colored glasses for that era. It also ain’t far fetched to say TC and NWTS are just his most introspective albums with the most to say
he was trying to be more mature bc he wanted to surpass people like Jay-Z at that time, nowadays his direct competition is not the older people but the younger rappers. he could easily make an album that was full of introspection and wisdom but only a minority of people would enjoy it. would not sell well

And I don’t want an album of like 444 s*** or even 10 time and place rap tracks
I just want the next album to be a mix of this rap energy on this album, some great pop/r&b tracks, and a slightly more thoughtful/soulful tone. Just feels like the perfect time for him to really do a DRAKE ALBUM again
He can easily mix in some more content and still maintain his status and sales
