    Sir Real

It’s Drake he can do whatever the hell he wants lol

Yes but even Drake has never done a headlining tour that wasn’t to promote a recent project, this is standard procedure for touring artists

When we think this was recorded. I feel like this was recorded in the past week. His label didn't even know this was dropping.

But the situation became a little more complicated on 10/23 when it was revealed that Drake and 21 Savage would jointly drop a new set, Her Loss, on 10/28. According to inside sources, Drake’s release was as much of a surprise to Republic brass as it was the artist’s fans.

In any event, Taylor and camp can’t be too happy to be part of that story—they had every reason to expect several weeks of chart dominance and to control the social-media narrative.

Hope it's not rushed. Rather just get a solo album man

To be fair, his label rarely knows when he's dropping. This isn't anything new. They didn't know about Honestly, Nevermind as well.

No but usually you tour in promotion of a specific album

I guess when your Drake's level it doesnt matter tho

It would have to be like a greatest hits tour or a tour dedicated to the last album to help me decide if I want to go.

Charli XCX skipped over performing for her covid album and promoted Crash instead. Easy choice for me to not go since I liked the 2020 album more.

“Plus I never met nobody from my label nigga
I just pop up with the music then they pay a nigga”

Ironic that lyric being from a collab with 21 as well lmao

14 max. Shorter more concise albums are better. Not too short though. F*** those 7 track albums 👀

A shorter album doesn't necessarily mean a better album and if this will be the last Drake project we get for a good minute, I'll want as many rap songs as possible.

  • Oct 25, 2022

Y'all stay acting like there aren't some trash short albums lol. 14-18 songs on an album isn't "too many songs." That's standard, especially for a rap release.

  • WATTBA was 11 tracks because it was finished in 6 days. HN was likely 14 tracks because it had Drake going in a new direction sonically. This is a rap album he's had time to work on. I'd be surprised if we get less than 14 tracks tbh.
