the Gohan vs androids fight made me tear up. They really nailed that feeling of hopelessness and the fight actually feels kinda fun even though I got the s\*\*\* jumped out of me lol

A trunks story arc, only played up to the first Android fight but it’s already much better than the first 2 dlcs

Nah it's more than this. DBSHype showed screenshots of trunks in the buu arc as well training with the supreme Kai. So pretty much it's trunks story up before Goku Black appear.

Started playing that part last night so far it’s really in depth and there’s a special fight before you fight Dabura/the rest of babadi’s men that I don’t think anybody saw coming

How does this game play? Is it like an RPG with AI companions fighting with you?

It's a Action RPG. Yes some story missions may have like Krillin or Gohan or piccolo, etc fighting along side you like what happened in the actual fight. It was fun to me. Goes from super easy to challenging real quick though if you stay underleveled. It's a ton to do in the game also.
