Album really stood the test of time my man

Which really is an underrated achievement given how incredibly minimalistic and no-nonsense the production is. There are a few producers who can create something breathtaking with loud, pompous and overloaded production. But to create something like Xxplosive, Still DRE or Forgot About Dre with such a stripped down idea of an instrumental is truly genius. 2001 might be the epitome of minimalism.

So did The Chronic, which is a more cohesive and well rounded album. 2001 still great tho

haven't listen to 2001 yet but this is a bold statement.... but the 2 songs I have heard where miles better than most on Chronic... imma peep tho. Chronic one of my fav albums of all time

The Chronic is objectively better.. it's more cohesive and well rounded, the songwriting is more focused.
