People still play TLOP joints in 2021. That's the sign of something that didn't come and go.
Ye only having Ghost Town be the one track off a 7 track album sustain relevance is not a good sign of an album not "coming and going"

I don't care for myself. My favourite album this year is Mach-Hommy Pray for haiti which ain't charted but I do find charts interesting and an indication to how mainstream music is resonating.
For the super stars especially it does tell a story of how the music is connecting and hitting.

Most people like the music regardless of sales besides prolly like 2% . Numbers and comparisons are just interesting to us as humans . It’s that simple , nothing more nothing less .
