He didn’t comment on the HOF for over a decade after eligibility. During that decade, his fans and tons of music journalists/industry people wrote articles about how he is being treated unfairly. After years of being snubbed, he comes out to say that he doesn’t care about it because it’s a scam. The societal norm is to read that as cope.

Similarly, after “three albums worth of Kanye stems”, he didn’t make it on the album. according to Todd, such a egregious offense could only be possible if Kanye rushed the album. Otherwise, his stuff would have definitely made it. Not even a suggestion of the possibility that Kanye maybe just didn’t feel like it fit his album.

Kanye was never the billboard guy so why be afraid of sales (sales still good considering his age) and he's a whole generation behind Drake and you're already on icon status and have way more money
