I think what is making other countries no longer trust America, and will make rebuilding that trust extremely difficult is that Americans didn't vote for Trump just once...this is the second time they've done this. And he ran on an even more batshit insane and self-sabotaging platform than his first go around.

Other countries are seeing just how ignorant and irresponsible Americans truly are capable of being. Even if they know there are a fair amount of Americans who do not support Trump, they see the fact that there isn't much being done to get rid of Trump or stop Trump shows how powerless citizens are and possibly how complacent they can be.

This doesn't even take into account America's heavy involvement in and funding of Israel's genocide

Trust can be rebuilt maybe, but it's gonna take a long time. And with the rise of China as a superpower, the rest of the world will gladly move on while the US boo-boo's all over itself for the next four years.
