Snowfall is really good. It has it's flaws but I'd keep it in that conversation. Take a bit to fully get going but when all the storylines start to merge is when it really kicks off. Worth a try for sure

then most of Snowfall falls into A/B tier imo. Writing isn't crazy but they've got hold of a good plot that drives itself for the most part. Not seen this new season yet though
