I've met him before too when he was on his This Is America tour. Bruh was having a very zesty conversation with a group of Black women apart of his touring choir and getting mad hype to Rae Sremmurd's set...bruh was feeling Chanel
overall though yeah he's just a very chill dude. I noticed he was more distant with white fans than Black fans who were also in the room meeting him, but it was equivalent to that Key & Peele skit with Obama shaking hands with white people and dapping up and hugging Black people
The way I look at him is he's just a nerdy nigga lol fully aware of his Blackness and embraces it. I just really never understood this idea that he was a self-hating nigga or felt he was better than other Black people. I do think there are some things that he might regret having said in his old stand up specials and songs, but I'm sure most artists feel that way when it's still being used against them 10+ years later.
Seems like it. The internet's convos around blackness gets so tiring cuz a lot of it just feels like projection. And those old jokes being used against him are cringe cuz people like to act like comedy as a whole wasn't on some edgy s***
you really think he thinks of Willy Wonka as his role model?
You can have a joke between serious answers
People really wasting energy being mad about this s*** when it's clearly jokes
On top of that nigga tells us exactly what it is right from the start
Yeah, so first question, why’d you want to do this?
I guess I don’t love interviews and I asked myself, “Why don’t you like interviews?” And I think part of it is that the questions are usually the same. This way I can get questions I usually don’t get asked.
You don’t think this is contrived?
I don’t think it’s more contrived than any other interview.

exactly man
I’m watching people go back & forth about how pretentious & corny Bino is when that’s literally the whole point of the interview, to double down on all his criticisms in the most exaggerated way
Like you said, he even let us know what’s good from the jump & ppl still not seeing it
Not saying it’s the most amazing move done by someone & that everything is a joke but it’s just funny that this s*** is actually working in real time

Funny thing is he’s completely right lol. That dumb vogue 72 questions thing is also so contrived but people eat it up

he’s just doubling down on the criticisms ppl pin against him purposely
Him interviewing himself should’ve been a deadass give away along with the cover photo

Oh it's most definitely projection lmao also holding on to this stupid ass pre-conceived notion on what Blackness is and what determines Blackness based on your interests, where you grew up, or how you dress. Crazy s*** is most of those ideas were lowkey influenced by what white people thought of Black people because they viewed us as if we are all monolithic and supposed to be one thing.
Niggas do that kinda s*** to this day and it's sad af but one day they gonna realize maybe

Royalty was amazing
Probably the most underrated mixtape of the '10s. I don't think anybody really gave it a chance because he was coming off all the hatred from Camp, but that s*** was genuinely amazing. Next level rapping and one of the craziest feature sets on a tape OAT
bald donald glover outside the taco bell in a DIAPER
