Twitter already picking s*** up
"why?" is a fair enough question, even in the context of the interview it does come out of nowhere
Twitter already picking s*** up

Just that he's been producing and rapping

look, the daiper was not it
like it would've been hard but put a loincloth or like anything that isnt that
why'd u take the puffy jacket avi away
Winter is coming here soon so I will get it again then
My homeboy who’s not even a fan of DG met him a few years ago in Atlanta lol said he’s not even the “black people never accepted me type” like you’d think. Said he was just a laid back Nigga
I've met him before too when he was on his This Is America tour. Bruh was having a very zesty conversation with a group of Black women apart of his touring choir and getting mad hype to Rae Sremmurd's set...bruh was feeling Chanel
overall though yeah he's just a very chill dude. I noticed he was more distant with white fans than Black fans who were also in the room meeting him, but it was equivalent to that Key & Peele skit with Obama shaking hands with white people and dapping up and hugging Black people
The way I look at him is he's just a nerdy nigga lol fully aware of his Blackness and embraces it. I just really never understood this idea that he was a self-hating nigga or felt he was better than other Black people. I do think there are some things that he might regret having said in his old stand up specials and songs, but I'm sure most artists feel that way when it's still being used against them 10+ years later.
Gave us Atlanta
crazy i could never f*** with his music (and community was trash idc)
but if you did this nigga would be insane to you

Bro this nigga off the beans
No one has listened to that album since 2014
it's very telling his best work is a bunch of poverty sly the family stone and straight up funkadelic rips
it is what it is
Atlanta is his best work
It is werid, I wouldnt take Don as the insecure type
I get the black women thing but the black enough talk is new
Oh nah he was rapping about that back on Culdesac and Camp lmao it's similar to the whole Tyler the Creator s*** except Donald wasn't actively s***ting on Black women, Steve Harvey, BET, etc.
It came off as genuine confusion like "Yo I'm Black and I get respect from a bunch of other Black actors and artists, but why don't Black people f*** with me?" thankfully it seems like he's gotten over that years ago.
