did I ever say it was better than any of those albums
besides, I evaluate albums based on overall enjoyment, so thats rapping plus beats plus whatever else goes into it. I don't think Donald Glover is a crazy good rapper. Is he decent at rapping? yeah he's pretty competent. Not a rap goat tho obviously. BUT that being said BTI is still an absolutely amazing album even if the rapping on it is more 6-7/10 than 10/10.

there's external factors that you can look at when you're looking at an album, such as influence, its impact, whether it's innovative/introduced new sounds, in addition to the actual quality of the album itself.
im not going to sit here and say something like SOUR is the quintessential pop album because i love it so much. that's nonsense.
