It was a joke . I’ve dealt with an alcoholic. Who I told them throughout the time they were an alcoholic that their alcoholism was affecting me . They eventually got treatment . I’m not bringing up their darkest moment every chance I get . I’m not like “ why did yall drink with them knowing their alcoholism “

My point about Kanye is that he stayed friends with Elon even after the lawsuits, when he could have distanced himself. That matters because it speaks to his judgment and who he aligns with.
I also never compared Kanye to Israel or said he was worse. I said he contributed to normalizing antisemitism, especially among young men. That’s not moving goalposts—it’s a specific argument about cultural influence. And you can see the effects in spaces where figures like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson (who platform white supremacists) are embraced under the guise of “anti-Zionism.” Kanye directly helped elevate Nick Fuentes, who is a self-proclaimed Nazi. That’s not a side issue—it’s part of the same pattern.
You said I’m here to argue, but I’m here because I take this seriously. There is a line between legitimate anti-Zionism and platforms that enable antisemitism. But dismissing the impact Kanye has had on that dynamic isn’t honest.
