he's very publicly signed to Columbia and he or them have never tried to hide the fact

that's b/c eric get's mislabeled as a rapper, he's been singing his entire career aside from a few songs where he raps (like fike has). he's versatile just like him.
agree to disagree though, songs like superstar sh*t lead me to that direction, especially when a lot of the appeal of him to me is his catchy hooks. but no point in arguing what genre somebody is, have a nice night.

But Ive yet to ever hear somebody rap n sing over rock instrumentals and get called pop music just coz they have well thought out melodies lol ktt always next level
