She legit doesn’t believe it’s wrong

Doesn’t that speak to underlying issues?

Like idk I feel people take canceling as a type of sport to get hype about when most of the cases it’s just kinda sad

If you constantly hanging around white people that say the hard r, it says a lot about you.

And for them to feel comfortable saying it casually in your presence to begin with shows they know you won't do s***.

so if she's raised exclusively by a white woman and is half white, is it some great sin that she doesn't identify with her black heritage?

    It’s no “sin”

People shouldn’t be surprised because most white woman dont know how to raise a black girl

tinychat is all racists. she was probably trying to fit in. peer pressure is a hell of a d***. I doubt she was was being racist to poc. she is black after all.

Trying to “fit in” with racist isn’t justified.

    1. I haven’t seen that video do you have a link? Only ones I’ve seen were her talking about pouring liquor down a funnel into her ass (lmao) and another where she said a guy DM’d her and asked what she learned that day. It may have even been in one of those videos but the sound quality was pretty s***ty so I may have not heard it

    2. Yeah that’s what I was saying in my post, that when they use racially charged expressions they have a message associated with it, where her song was odd because it didn’t seem to have any message in any direction. Like, she didn’t seem to be making any sort of point so it’s just weird, I expected it to be a song where she was rapping about the issue in some form or fashion but instead she just kinda says the phrase a lot? I don’t really understand what her intent was there.

Also I do think her even knowing the phrase is pretty weird because I’ve never seen it before and I’ve been on reddit/KTT/twitter for plenty of police shootings where people make comments like that but I’ve never seen that particular phrase before. Suggests to me that the phrase was probably more popular in some s***tier sections of the internet, which then suggests she must’ve visited those sections of the internet

Or I just live under a rock more than I realized and somehow never saw the phrase lol

Suggests to me that the phrase was probably more popular in some s***tier sections of the internet, which then suggests she must’ve visited those sections of the internet

Bingo this is what a lot of ppl aren’t realizing

Also i think it’s one of the videos in OP

“good field n*”, Nas etc. your using those out of context

Peep the last post, talked a little more about it. But in the post you responded to, I had said that when they used it it’s packed with a message and it’s clear why they’re using it, which is why I said her usage there was odd because it didn’t seem to have any discernible message tied to it.

So it wasn’t whataboutism, I was just saying there is a precedent in Hip Hop to use expressions like that, while also acknowledging that usually when they’re used the message is clear.

Dindu Nuffin is not some secret 4chan code word it's a pretty popular derogatory term for black people who are killed by the police. There's no spinning it any other way.

doubling down on it once he realized it got him publicity is
    wearing a maga hat is

he legit wrote a song about how pissed off kim was at the situation

Doubling down on it still isn’t an endorsement, and he already talked about how wearing the maga hat was a poor attempt at changing the narrative behind it, like he tried to do with the confederate flag in 2013

None of those things are endorsements. Also, what does Kim being pissed off about it have to do with any of that, of course she was pissed, she was scared they were going to lose all of their assets

There’s a precedent for using modern alt-right terms in hip-hop? News me, HMU when we wus Kangs is the hot new single

  • When I say it’s “sad” I don’t mean the fact that careers suffer but that people take enjoyment in people’s illness, ignorance, and vulnerabilities.

Don’t care if someone no longer makes millions etc but it damages them much deeper

Not gonna lie doe, the girl clearly had issues and this isn’t going to help. But what’s done in the dark will come to light

  • May 23, 2020

if she's actively collaborating with black artists, it's harder to make the argument that she's racist. she may hate the black side of herself, but I have yet to see evidence that she is, today, a racist. people grow and change. I don't think anyone deserves to be called a racist if they change their behavior from the past.

if she hates blacks, then that is self hatred. not sure if it can be classified as racism.
